Alright, well I got my hands on quite a few of my mom's old pictures of herself and her family. I really want to do something nice for her this year and I finally figured out what and thought I'd share in case anyone else was speedy and could complete this project in, like, five days.
So first off, you need pictures, but you don't have to have tons for this project. Instead you can do a lot of writing with pictures thrown in here and there.
Second you must go to www.ancestry.com and then start a project. (I found the mothers day gift through a link at the side of the homepage that said "There are better ways to honor mom's legacy)I sadly think you have to have an account though. (I have a free account)
Once you have gotten into the project selection screen there are a few options. Mother's Day Photo Book, Mother's Day Poster 4 or 9 photos. You can do any of those, I chose Mother's Day Photo Book.
Next, it's really simple to use the Ancestry Press, and it's even easier if you have high speed internet. Makes everything load faster.
From there just play around with layouts and photos and texts and all the other options you want. It may be a bit of work but seriously, it's way worth it if you want to show your mom how much she means to you. I know I'm going to shock mine.
As for the prices it will tell you but I'll tell you here too just incase, all you have to do is follow the link:
http://ancestrypress.ancestry.com/Popups/IntroductoryPriceDetails.aspx
And voila! There you are a great Mother's Day gift idea. If it doesn't work out you can do one for Father's Day or wait till next year and do one for Mother's Day or BOTH! _________________

The problem there is that my family lived in an orphanage, and Travis' lived in Poland. XD Wait, a couple of my relatives were pilots, maybe I could find them there...and my dad's been to prison a couple times, so if he's in AFIS, he's probably on ancestry.com...my uncle, too...so that's my mom's dad, her grandfather, her brother, and her ex-boyfriend. It appears as though my family /may/ have a few problems...XD _________________
